June Album Cover

About the Project
My album cover for Junip's "Fields" is an artistic representation of the band's musical ethos and symbolizes what the listener can expect when diving into the music. The visual narrative is centered around a profile portrait that seamlessly blends into a mountainous landscape, symbolizing the fusion of the self with the natural world, a recurring theme in Junip's music that explores deep desires and connections to nature.
The mountains within the figure's head imply cognition and the formation of thoughts, drawing a parallel to the band's introspective lyrics and soundscapes that often delve into the realm of the subconscious. Asoft and restrained color palette, consisting of muted blues, grays, and earthy tones, invokes a sense of peace and mirrors the quiet and mellow acoustic arrangements for which the band is known.
