About the Project
In this project, I created a game concept. The game centers around creating a virtual sanctuary for rescued animals, employing a 2D, cartoonish vector art style. Within the game, players will construct and upgrade shelters using in-game currency. A character will allow interaction and exploration of various terrains to find animals in need of food and water. The primary goal is to address the critical issue of animal welfare, with a target audience of 8 to 12-year-olds. Using a design thinking approach, I aimed to create a simple yet educational platformer game that encourages positive behavior change and learning. The visual assets will feature a flat, cartoon design.
