About the Project

In this project I took a deep dive into diverse cultural backgrounds of various
celebrities and using their ancestry as one of the factors seen in the images. I created a series of vector images that clearly convey the essence of each celebrity’s
culture by making use of the software, Adobe Illustrator and its tools. Every vector
image I created showcase details of their cultural identity by blending traditional and
modern design elements. The purpose of this project was to promote diversity and
showcase the influence of heritage on personal and public identities. I made illustrations of Gigi Hadid (model), Serena Williams (Tennis player), Shakira (singer) and Zendaya (Actress).
