The project brief was essentially about the use of typography within a magazine layout. I chose the scope of design, specifically Filipino creatives, to be the topic of what RAWA mag is about. The reason for this is that I thought it would be the right context to experiment with type and play around with the conventional forms of magazines. I wanted it to be modern, and reflective of my target audience as well as the authenticity of those who'd be featured. I focused on conveying a distinct identity that would set RAWA apart from the rest.
