About The Film
Lev Petrov is a brilliant but emotionally distant college student struggling with his mental health. His obsessive-compulsive tendencies and schizophrenia distort his perception of reality.
When he becomes fixated on Alina Romanova—a seemingly perfect classmate concealing deep trauma from her abusive family—his curiosity quickly turns into obsession. Convinced she needs saving, Lev begins crossing boundaries under the guise of "helping" her.
As his obsession intensifies, he grows increasingly controlling and invasive, unknowingly putting Alina at risk. Her carefully managed life spirals out of control, leading to a tragic collapse fueled by Lev’s interference.
Institutionalized and still believing he saved her, Lev remains trapped in his own reality, while Alina’s fate hangs in the balance.
Through His Eyes is a gripping exploration of obsession, control, and the dangers of misinterpreting others while hiding behind a perfect façade.
